Human Rights Support Project reacts on the spectacular arrests

NGO Human Rights Support Project reacts on, as it states, the spectacular arrests and the statements while pressing charges made by high officials of the Ministry of Interior (MI) according to which - the police have irrefutable evidence. This NGO supported by the OSCE Spillover Monitor Mission to Skopje and the Soros Foundation calls on the state authorities to cease the practice of brutally violating one of the basic human rights – the presumption of innocence. According to the European Court of Human Rights, the public statements for the guiltiness of a high representative of the executive authority results in him being considered guilty by the citizens, thus influencing and exerting pressure on the court authorities; is stated in the reaction of the Human Rights Support Project.
